Metamorphic massage (Violette Prod'hom method)

A very gentle massage on feet, hands and head that acts on physical, emotional and spiritual levels. Through his work in reflexology Robert St-John discovered, in the 1960s, the prenatal map (from preconception to birth) of the spine column reflex zone, located on the internal part of the arch of the foot.  Due to this regression phenomenon he called it prenatal therapy, and then, metamorphic massage or metamorphosis. Educated at Robert St-John School, Violette Prod'hom, thanks to her experience, enriched and deepened the original method by working on the energetic levels.

Acting on the physical, emotional and spiritual levels (energetic levels), metamorphic massage dissolves blockages and frees your own vital force. It allows the possibility to rediscover a harmonious life for yourself and for those around you.

During the treatment, which involves both contact with and distance from the body, the therapist acts as a catalyst (the action of an element on another element that, without being modified, allows a transformation).

Massage is provided on the feet (centre of movement), the hands (centre of action) and on the head (centre of planning). It frees and harmonises these three levels.

Metamorphic massage is a technique that is anti-fatigue, calming, balancing and recharges your energy on physical and psychical levels. Every one of us, from child to adult, may benefit from it.

Reiki

Rei means "life essence" (or "universal" - including matter, soul and mind). Ki means the vital energy that moves through us. Reiki is therefore the connection or reconnection of universal energy with our own vital force with the aim of starting a healing process.

During a treatment, the therapist channels universal energy and transmits it through his/her hands in contact with (or at a distance from) the patient's body. The therapist is a channel and his/her energy does not intervene in the process.

What is this treatment like?

The massage lasts for approximately one and a half hours. The patient remains clothed, as only feet must be bare. Part of the massage will be carried out with the patient lying down and part with the patient in a sitting position. I work by touching the body and also at a distance. The massage will be based on metamorphic massage but, if needed, I will use the Reiki technique.
